Overview

Mr. Black had us create a chart after we had finished taking care of our plants for five weeks. It recorded our plant's height (to the nearest half-inch) after each week we measured it.

Week Five

This week was our last week to take care of our bean plants before we can take them home. I was really excited to see how tall it was going to get for our final week. It ended up being a whole 9.5 inches tall! I can't wait to go home and show mom and dad. It has so many leaves on it and flowers too.

Week Four

I really thought my bean plant might have grown even more than it had last week. Last week, my bean plant had grown 3.5 inches from the previous week. This week, it had only grown 2 more inches. It's a whole 8 inches tall now. It is getting so tall! I wonder how much taller it can get before we are done measuring it?

Week Three

I was so excited to measure my plant this week! While taking care of it all week, I had noticed how much it had started to grow. When I measured my plant, it was a whole 6 inches tall! It has plenty of leaves on it now. It even has a small flower! I hope it grows even more within this next week.

Week Two

As I measured my plant on the second week, I was getting excited. I could tell that it had grown more. When I measured it, it was 2.5 inches tall. It had grown an inch and a half! It even had more leaves on it. I cannot wait until it gets even taller.

Week One

After the first week of taking care of my plant, I measured its growth. Measuring my plant to the nearest half-inch, its height was 1 inch. It is not very big but you can see it! It has four little leaves on it.
